An exciting opportunity is available to join the team at Gordon Timber.

We are looking for a Store Person to set up our new Stores area. You will come in and make the area your own, set up a Stores system then ensure this is working effectively for Goods In and Inventory management.

Main Duties will be:

  • Intake, checking and receipt of purchased goods.
  • Allocation of goods received to the correct location.
  • Completion and upkeep of all related paperwork.
  • Manage stock levels
  • Develop good working relationships across the site
  • Maintain security of all good received into the site
  • Ensure Store and other areas are kept organised, clean and tidy
  • Maintain a safe environment for yourself and others

Essential Requirements for this position are:

  • Previous experience of inventory or stock control systems or goods in/out processes
  • Computer literacy (including Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Good organisational skills with a proactive approach to work
  • Numeracy skills
  • Accuracy & attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with other teams
  • Driving licence
