Electrical Maintenance Engineers

We are currently recruiting for 2 Electrical Maintenance Engineers with proven industry experience. We are a family run business operating a busy sawmilling site with over 160 years’ experience in the industry. We continue to invest in the latest technology and equipment and importantly, our employees. Continuous employee development is a priority for the company.

About The Role:

Applicants must have a solid grounding in Industrial Electrical Engineering and be fully conversant with the current 18^th Edition IET Regulations and have a strong Health & Safety work ethic. They must also have good communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work as part of a team or on their own initiative and also be able to complete the work in a safe and professional manner, whilst minimising disruption and inconvenience to production. The jobs will vary from day to day.

The role is shift work, which includes weekend working (1 in 3).

Skills and Experience Required:

• HNC/HND/C&G or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Maintenance experience in automation processes would be preferrable, but not essential
• Fault finding in PLC systems would be preferable, but not essential
• Maintain installation infrastructure
• Follow PPM schedules
• Be able to work safely, under pressure, in a production environment

• Must be reliable
• Honest and trustworthy
• Have good verbal and written communication skills

Benefits:

We offer a competitive remuneration package, £40k-£44k (based on experience), including a non-contributory life assurance & pension scheme. Onsite parking and PPE is provided.
