Business Administrative Assistant

£26K to £29K per annum (depending on experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Business Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is early on in their career in administration, with the opportunity to gain experience in finance, HR, and general office administration. The successful candidate will support various functions and contribute to the smooth running of daily operations.

You will be proactive and eager to learn, reliable and adaptive in order to thrive in our friendly but fast paced environment. Previous experience in an office environment is desirable but not essential. Any previous work or voluntary experience in finance, HR, or administration would be advantageous.

About you:

Qualifications:

  • Educated to SCQF Level 5 i.e. National 5 or equivalent.
  • A National Certificate or HNC in a relevant discipline is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of finance and HR concepts would be an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Health and Safety awareness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality, particularly in handling sensitive information.
