In response to the ever growing demand for regularised kiln dried carcassing material, John Gordon & Son Ltd recently invested in a new moulding line.
Our requirement for a robust machine that could handle both seasoned and unseasoned material, including some large sections, influenced the choice of the Wadkin 220B.
With a highly mechanised infeed and outfeed handling system, we now have a moulder with a potential of machining up to 200 m3 per day in a single shift.
With easy changeover and the correct tooling, we have
the capability to produce eased edge carcassing in the range from 47 x 50
- 225 and 75 x 100 - 225 in standard lengths, with any specials
by negotiation.
